Grapes and Barrels is rapidly growing and are looking for motivated wine sales representatives for the Northern California/Bay Area region.

 

Candidate will be responsible for:
- Opening and developing new accounts
- Expand the sales in the existing accounts
- Conduct Wine tasting events

Candidate must have:
- Previous 1-2 years of wine sales experience or related business.
- Knowledge and passion for fine wines
- Well organized with an ability to work independently
- Excellent communication skills
- Computer skills

 

Salary Information:
Position is commission based only

Grapes & Barrels Introduces Wine Adventure Pack to US market

HANSFORD Cabernet Sauvignon 2004

Wine region: Coonawarra, South Australia 14% Alcohol by Volume

A medium weight, well balanced fruit driven dry red. Berry characters complimented by integrated oak overtones,

TEMPLE BRUER Cabernet Merlot 2004

Wine region: Langhorne Creek, South Australia 13% Alcohol by Volume

This wine was vintaged from Cabernet Sauvignon (61%), Merlot (28%) and Cabernet Franc (11%) grown in the Temple Bruer vineyard. Open fermentation, gentle pressing and maturation in American and French oak casks and stackvats have created a medium bodied wine with abundant fruit and firm, fine tannins.

BENBROOK YARN SPINNER Cabernet Sauvignon 2006

Wine region: MacClesfield, South Australia 13% Alcohol by Volume

This Cabernet has all the qualities to fuel a good raconteur. displays the unique regional characters of the Macclesfield hills microclimate, and the very, very special terroir. Rich ripe berry, subtle earthiness, pepper and spice.

HUNDRED OF COMAUM Cabernet Sauvignon 2006

Wine region: Coonawarra, South Australia 13% Alcohol by Volume

This is a very good, traditional Coonawarra Cabernet Sauvignon, single vineyard estate, no blending. Rich fruit cake and plum flavours set against tannins of smokey oak providing an elegant length and balance.

TOCCAS THE GAME Shiraz 2006

Wine region: Coonawarra, South Australia 14% Alcohol by Volume

The call of ‘Go Toccas’, the nickname for Pat Tocaciu the winemaker, has added a distinctive Aussie flavour to any sporting match that a Tocaciu descendent has been involved in. Pat has created this unique wine in acknowledgement of the great friendships he and his family continue to enjoy through their involvement in sport.

DI GIORGIO Cabernet Sauvignon 2002

Wine region: Limestone Coast, South Australia 14% Alcohol by Volume

This wine was made using selected parcels of fruit from the Lucindale vineyard and traditional vinification techniques including 2 years maturation in French and American Oak barrriques. It has blueberry, blackcurrant and peppermint flavours mixed with distinctive spicy oak and cigar box nuances. A complex and softly textured wine that will develop cedary and cassis like bouquets with careful cellaring.
